Lorenzo Carter Leaves Week 5 Game With An Achilles Injury

Another injury has hit the New York Giants hard in the last couple of minutes. Linebacker Lorenzo Carter left today’s game against the Dallas Cowboys with an Achilles injury. The training staff carted Carter into the locker room.

The New York Giants put Oshane Ximines on injured reserve with a shoulder injury this week. He will be on injured reserve for three weeks minimum. Carter Coughlin, Markus Golden, Cam Brown, and Kyler Fackrell are the only other linebackers active today against the Cowboys.

Lorenzo Carter, in four games so far, accumulated one sack, seven pressures, two quarterback knockdowns, four hurries, and seven tackles. Carter is ruled out for the rest of the game.

The New York Giants lost running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver Cody Core to season-ending injuries earlier this season.

As the game moves along, this article will have updates on Carter’s injury.
