NBA Releases New York Knicks’ Preseason Schedule

The New York Knicks are set to break their nine-month playing drought as the NBA has revealed their preseason schedule. New York has four preseason games on their schedule.

The Knicks will open their preseason by playing two games against the Detroit Pistons. The games are gonna be played in Detroit on December 11 and 13.

Then, the Knicks’ preseason concludes with two games against the Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden. Both games will be played on December 16 and 18.

Due to New York State laws, fans are not allowed at the Garden.

The Knicks last played on March 11 in Atlanta, with the game resulting in a victory. During the game, the NBA announced the season would be shut down after Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.

Tom Thibodeau will make his Knicks’ debut as head coach. More importantly, fans are eager to see the young core. But, this is likely another losing season for New York. Although, fans are hungry for improvement in the kids.

Being released next week is the team’s first-half regular-season schedule. Training camp also starts next week for the NBA as December 6 is the Knicks’ first practice.

It’s officially two weeks until the Knicks resume playing again.
