Frank Ntilikina Ruled Out For Tomorrow’s Game Vs Raptors

The Knicks keep getting more bad news regarding injuries. Per the team, Frank Ntilikina is now out for tomorrow’s game versus the Toronto Raptors. But, this might be a blessing in disguise.

Guards Immanuel Quickley and Austin Rivers are now listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game alongside Alec Burks.

Quickley injured his hip in the opener against the Indiana Pacers and missed the past few games. In the game against the Pacers, he scored five points in 12 minutes. What looked better was his facilitating of the offense. For sure when he was facilitating, the offense looked quicker and faster. Not to knock Elfrid Payton but Quickley makes the offense look so much better.

Austin Rivers injured his groin earlier this month and missed the entire preseason plus all four regular-season games. Rivers will definitely add more to the team when and if he returns tomorrow.

Alec Burks injured his groin in the Knicks’ blowout victory against the Milwaukee Bucks. Burks has been nothing short of excellent this season, looking like Marcus Morris of last year. Burks is averaging 20.1 points per game, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. Even better, he has hit 66.7 percent of his three-pointers.

He is a major reason why the Knicks lead the NBA in three-point shooting.

Aside from a few turnovers last night, Frank Ntilikina looks improved. His confidence in his jump shot looks better as he is getting good looks and draining good shots. He is shooting 55.6 percent from beyond the arc and looks better running the offense, in part to more ball movement. The question is: What kind of minutes will Ntilikina get when he returns?
