Knicks Falter In Clutch In Loss To Cavaliers In Final Minute

The Knicks‘ and the Cavaliers’ battle was close most of the game it went down to the wire. One team taking the lead one minute then the other team grabbed the lead the next.  The Knicks looked poised to win this one but fell just short of a win during the final minute and a half of the game. Cleveland beat New York by a score of 106-103.

First Half Highlights

Both teams played well in the first half. The Knicks looked a lot more fluid out there than the previous games. They had Reggie Bullock back tonight and you can tell when certain players aren’t out there they kinda run out of scoring power.  Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, and Immanuel Quickley paced the Knicks in the first half.

The Cavaliers were tough in the first half. Andre Drummond did just about everything you can ask for from a star player.  He scored rebounded even took his man off the dribble tonight. Both teams shot well and finished around 48 percent from the field and 40 percent from three for the night.

Second Half Highlights

The second half was back and forth. Both teams played like they wanted to win. The Cavaliers had a huge game come from Andre Drummond and they needed every last minute. They also had a big night from Cedi Osman he’s deceptively fast and can shoot the ball really well. Both players accounted for more than half of the teams’ output tonight.

Andre Drummond finished the night with 33 points, 23 rebounds, and three assists. Solid night for a guy that looks totally a hundred percent healthy. Cedi Osman finished with 25 points, five assists, and three rebounds.

The Knicks played hard had a chance to win but ultimately the Cavaliers prevailed. Julius Randle again stands out for the Knicks.  He is playing like an all-star and deserves some acknowledgment. He finished the game with 28 points, six rebounds, and six assists. RJ Barrett had 20 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Immanuel Quickley continues to amazed as he scored in a variety of ways finishing with 23 points, three rebounds, and four assists in his best game as a pro.
