Hello! My name is Vincent Giacalone, I am 23 years old and I am in my last semester at Stony Brook University. My major is French Language and Literature and my minor is Journalism. I absolutely love to write about sports and share my passion for sports journalism. I’ve been watching sports my whole life, but my favorite sports include baseball, soccer, hockey and basketball. More specifically, my favorite teams are the Mets, New York City FC, the Knicks and the Islanders.
I had the pleasure of working for the sports section of my university’s newspaper, The Statesman, for about a year, during which I covered many games, wrote some other kinds of articles and interviewed players and coaches. This time not only taught me how to be a better writer and journalist, but it also fueled my dream of being a sports journalist. I’m excited to continue working in this field and cover the sports that I love.
Additionally, I’m beginning to develop a passion for photography and photo/video journalism. I have some experience with Nikon DSLRs from university, but I also just ordered my own camera and look forward to working with it soon.
I hope you enjoy my work and that by reading it you’ll be able to enjoy these sports just as much as I do! Like I said, I love to write about sports and share my passion with others!
As diehard fan of the Mets, Rangers, Jets, and Knicks, I have endured some highs and some lows watching over the years. Following in my dad’s footsteps has been the passion and knowledge that I have with my favorite teams and the effect they have on my mood varies by the day. While not originally being a huge sports fan, I was involved with playing the games I loved, baseball and hockey until eighth grade and senior year of high school, respectively. Beginning in 2012, I started to get heavily involved with the aforementioned teams and I became a fanatic. Having season tickets for the Rangers at the time was a blessing in that I was able to attend some great games. As for the Mets, I hadn’t really attended much games until the 2015 season in which we got our first ticket plan at the end of the season for playoffs, and have held them ever since. Being able to attend the Wilmer Flores game, Asdrubal Cabrera game, game 3 of the World Series and many others has been something I will be grateful for the rest of my life. And now having the ability to write for some of my favorite teams such as the Mets is something I do not take for granted and something I will enjoy for a long time.
Director Of Podcasts/The4Line
Hey what’s up guys it’s your amigo, Brandon. I am one half of The4Line which is a podcast about The New York Yankees presented by ANYS. I’m from Staten Island where the former Yankees low class-A Minor League team, The Staten Island Yankees played. I’ve been a Yankees fan all my life and I was born into being a Yankees fan. I met the other half of The4line CJ Pukala, a writer at ANYS from playing baseball on the same team when we were very little. After games, we would always hang out and watch the Yankees and just talk baseball. At the age of 16 during the whole COVID-19 pandemic, CJ and I decided to make a podcast talking about the Yankees and how much love we have towards this team. That’s what lead us here today with us now being part of the ANYS team and we couldn’t be more thankful. So now that you know me on a more personal note my name is Brandon Gallego and as I always say before we end the videos, signing off it is your amigo, Brandon.

I am 18 years old and I live in Philadelphia where I will attend the University of Pennsylvania for college. When I was very young, living in New York, I would watch Giants and Yankees games with my cousins and almost instantly became a huge fan. Since then, I have retained my love for them despite being surrounded by Eagles/Phillies fans. I am very passionate about playing baseball and I am a religious Jew.
Hello, my name is Anthony Pabon. I am an avid and lifelong fan of the Brooklyn Nets, New York Yankees, and New York Giants. I was introduced to sports as a young child by my father, and I’ve grown to share his passion for them. I am most invested and knowledgeable in Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Golf. Recently, I joined All NY Sports as a writer so I could share my knowledge and my passion with others. Along with my writing, I co-host a podcast with my younger brother and two of our closest friends, who are also brother. Our podcast is called: The Final Score. With news updates, heated debates, and hot takes, we cover all things around the sports world. What sets us apart from other podcasts, however, is our mission to interview some of the top professional athletes in the world. So far, we’ve been able to interview Atlanta Braves’ pitcher Ian Anderson and former NY Met TJ Rivera, and we have an interview coming up with Atlanta Hawks guard Kevin Huerter. My hope is that, between my writing and podcasting, I can continue to share my love of sports with all of you and make it my career. I am proud to be a member of the ANYS team, and I am incredibly excited to continue my journey in sports journalism.

I will be writing and covering most things Devils for ANYS!
My name is Matthew Sherwin. I joined AllNYSports in May of 2020 writing for the Rangers. I transitioned to writing about the Mets and now write for both the Mets and the Rangers. In my free time, I am almost always watching sports. I grew up watching sports starting with baseball at age five. I started watching hockey at nine and football at 12. I watched basketball scarcely until I entered high school and I began to follow more closely. I am a huge fan of the Mets, Jets, Rangers, and Nets (sad life I know). I play varsity baseball at my local high school and have played since I was six years old. When I’m not watching or playing sports, I’m usually gaming with my friends playing games like Rocket League, Minecraft, or Call of Duty. In the future, I hope to be a sports writer or sports broadcaster and I will be attending college starting in the fall of 2021 in order to further my education and achieve that goal. Writing for AllNYSports is a great way for me to enrich my skills and without Max, none of this is possible, so I want to thank him for giving me the opportunity to let me show what I’ve got.

Hello my name is David. I am an avid Knicks fan. Growing up in Brooklyn in the early 90’s, I saw my father root for the Patrick Ewing lead Knicks. As the team struggled to make it past MJ and the Bulls it only intrigued me more. As a child I soon began to fall in love with the game of basketball. Playing ball in my local park until the cops would kick us out only to sneak back in the park once they left. While the years past I saw my team make the nba finals then fall into a deep funk. However growing up on NYC means your a Knicks fan no matter what. I hope to share my passion for my team with you all. Hopefully we can share some wins as well.
Hi, my name is Chris Triolo, and I’m a writer here at Allnysports. I’m currently writing about Stony Brook basketball, and the Rangers, but I could expand to more teams in the future. Ever since I was 4, sports have been in my life. In all I’m a Mets, Rangers, Giants, Knicks, and Stony Brook (mainly basketball) fan. My dad was a massive Rangers and Mets fan back in his day, so hockey and baseball were the first sports I watched and played. Then the Giants won a Super Bowl, and at the same time this Carmelo Anthony guy was taking over New York which began my love for the Giants and Knicks. After Stony Brook made the NCAA tournament back in 2016 and I learned what college basketball was like, I was hooked. I ended up beginning @stonybrook.updates on Instagram in April of 2020. I was given the opportunity to join Allnysports in February of 2021. I hope to become a sports reporter/writer/analyst in the future, and I believe Allnysports is the perfect opportunity for me to gain some knowledge into what a future job like this could look like, and lead me down the right path.
Hi, my name is Stephen Heimers. I’m a Mets, Jets, Knicks and Devils fan. All of my favorite teams have cause me a lot of pain in my years, so I thought I should write about it. Hopefully if you read my words, you can relate to the frustration sports can bring you at times. That’s the beauty of sports though, your team may make you upset, but we keep coming back in hopes of greatness.
Aliyah Steinberg is a sophomore and currently attends Harborfields High School. She’s the oldest of two sisters, who are both incredibly important to her. She enjoys reading, writing, and listening to music. She also fell in love with running over the course of 2020. Aliyah is an avid sports fan, and will watch just about any game. She admires Shannon Hogan, sportscaster for the New York Islanders, and AJ Mleczko, 2 time Olympian and current sports reporter for NBC and MSG. This past summer, she was a part of the New York Islanders’ mentoring program where she learned the ins and outs of a hockey organization. This experience helped her fall in love with more than just the game. One day, Aliyah hopes to inspire young girls the same way these women have. Currently, Aliyah participates on the NHL youth advisory board where she provides feedback on marketing and social media initiatives. This program extends for the majority of the season, with the aim of extending the fanbase into the newer generations. She is thankful for her supportive family and friends, for without their encouragement she would not be able to achieve her goals. Aliyah is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to write with All New York Sports.
I am Andy Seidenberg, a 21 years old Junior at Centenary University majoring in Communications. At Centenary University I host a radio show at the school’s radio station WNTI. Hello, my name is Sam DeLeon, I’m 17 years old from Long Island. I love following the NBA, NHL, and all of New York’s sports teams. The teams I specialize in are the Rangers, Knicks, Mets, Nets, and Jets. I feel I can bring a unique view in what I write because I’m the head coach of a hockey team and also play on multiple other teams.
Sports writing was something I always thought about doing but never looked into until a friend of mine who also wrote for “All NY Sports” told me they were looking for writers, so I jumped on the opportunity. I have one year left of high school and for that last year I will be doing what is called dual-enrolled. Being dual-enrolled means that the credits for my high school classes will also count as college credits. By the time I graduate high school I will have 24 college credits and then will decide what I do from there.

My favorite player for the Mets growing up was David Wright, and today is Noah Syndergaard. My favorite Jets player growing up was Darrelle Revis, and today is Quinnen Williams. I am so excited to be here at Allnysports bringing great content to New York sports fans like myself. Journalism has been a big part of my life for a long time, so being able to work with a lot of people similar is an amazing experience. I am currently in high school, hoping to go to college for Journalism of some sort. Seeing as Allnysports connected my two loves, writing and New York sports, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass and couldn’t be more happy to have. LGM and Let’s go Jets!
Hi, my name is Casey Lorusso and I am from Connecticut. I have always been a fan of New York and their sports teams, especially the Yankees and rangers. I have have been a lifelong fan of both of those teams. I am currently running @allyankees.sports, I have also ran a Rangers Fanpage in the past. The reason I took the opportunity to run @allyankees.sports was because I have always wanted to create a Yankees page but never got a chance to create one so I thought it would be perfect to join Allnysports and post about a sports team that I love.

My goal with these articles is to introduce sports fans to various ideas that may seem obvious or something new. I also enjoy giving back to others in the same way that has gotten me through my life with these amazing articles. I hope to continue this passion with All NY Sports.

Ever since I first watched a football game, I instantly connected with the Giants, and it has only grown since then. Over this past season, I began to watch Knicks basketball due to the fan base being so entertaining. I plan on watching the NBA a lot more. I’ve never really been into it despite playing basketball all my life. I know a ton about it and a good amount about the players as well. My main operation is football, and even outside of the Giants, I know a ton about the NFL and College. I’ll be attending Arizona State for college, majoring in sports journalism, so I’m super excited to see where this takes me. It is a pleasure to meet everybody, and I am looking forward to working with and meeting everybody.
