Growing up in Brazil at the time I did, we were way behind times, and the only sports we could watch live was Brazilian soccer. My house had a soccer field and half a basketball court, so I played a lot for fun. the only way to watch other sports was on Betamax 6 months after events at our school. We watched from boxing, NFL (Dallas and Pittsburgh), NBA (Celtics and Lakers). When I came to NJ in the mid 80's, that's when I became a Knicks fan. From the early 90's to about 2013, I played pick up games in the parks and gyms of NJ/NY. Boxing I did just for exercise (I heard I'd live longer lol).
