Nick Santolla

Nick Santolla

Majority Owner

Hello all! I am Nick Santolla Majority owner and CEO here at ANYS. I started here in June 2020 and worked my way up the ranks until I eventually bought the company. As a freshman in college it is a big commitment but I am extremely excited to take the reigns on a company that trusted me enough to give me a start in the sports media world. In high school I was a three year varsity wrestler so I know what it takes to build a successful team with a competitive drive. My goals are to put ANYS on the map and in conversations about the best sources for sports content on the east coast. I can't wait to get started.

Chris Triolo

Chris Triolo

Vice President

Hello. My name is Chris Triolo and I’m a writer/editor here at ANYS. I began here back in February of 2021 and have enjoyed every second of it. Since I can remember, I was always involved with watching and playing sports. I’ve played 3 sports across my lifetime, baseball, basketball, and hockey, with baseball being my favorite and the one I still play. I’m a Mets, Rangers, Giants, and Knicks fan, and I have wrote for all those teams while I’ve been here. My fandom for these teams was pretty much adopted from my dad. Besides the Knicks who I kind of naturally became a fan of, my dad grew up watching these teams and passed it down to me. As for my future outside of the website, my goal is to go to college with some sort of communications/journalism major in hopes of becoming something along the lines of announcer, analyst, writer, reporter, etc. ANYS has helped me get my feet wet in these types of things, which is why I first joined and why I will remain here for as long as I can.

Editor

Hi! My name is Vincent Giacalone, I’m 24 years old and I’m from Long Island, New York. I’m a Stony Brook University alumnus, having minored in Journalism. During my time there, I wrote for the sports section of The Statesman, the university’s newspaper. Since then, I’ve written and edited for this website as well as interning at a local news outlet near where I live. I’m a massive sports fan, with my interests ranging from soccer to basketball and hockey. My real love, however, lies in baseball. I’ve loved that sport ever since I was little, playing with my dad in the backyard and participating in Little League. Even though I no longer play that sport, I still love to watch it and write about it. Despite my favorite team being the Mets, I have learned to love the sport and embrace it no matter what happens. I’m so happy to be a part of this team and to write with such great people. I look forward to sharing my opinions and thoughts with everyone and discussing the beautiful, crazy world of professional sports.

Mascot

Hi, I’m Joe Nevola I’m the mascot at ANYS, I’ve been here since March 2020. Sports have played a big factor throughout my life, I use/used sports as an escape to the bad things that happened throughout my life. I played 3 sports growing up. They were Baseball, Basketball and Football. Football was one of my favorites because it helped me get in the best shape and helped me want to better myself and showed me what teamwork really was. The main sports I follow are Baseball, Football and Hockey. My favorite teams are The Yankees, Packers and Islanders. The Packers are my favorite football team because I remember watching them every Sunday with my great grandpa. The Yankees and Islanders come from my Grandpa, these teams are special to me because my grandpa who loved these teams passed away on January 24th 2020 and he was one of my biggest inspirations. While being at ANYS I’ve realized the importance of teamwork and the values of friendship. I know ANYS will go in the right direction because this is the best group of writers I’ve seen
